THE SUGGESTIONS IN AUTO-HYPNOSIS

As our purpose is to work with mental suggestions for improving something of ourselves, we are going to work at the intermediate level of hypnotic trance. There, the mind is well balanced between the relaxation and awareness and the suggestions are well accepted.

When you notice that your thoughts aren’t superficial as usual neither so deep, during your hypnosis, you will have reached that level and it will be the time to use the suggestions that you previously prepared. They can be taken from others, but I do recommend you to make your own suggestions based on your needs. It is easy, just follow these simple steps:

The suggestions have to be in the first person singular. In fact they have to be auto-suggestions.
E.g. Right: “I am happy”. Wrong: “You are happy”

The sentences have to be short and clear, without ambiguities. The mind obeys when the commands are simple and direct.
E.g. Right: “I get up early every day”. Wrong: “From now on I have the conviction of getting up early”.

The suggestions most be 100% positive. Use only affirmative sentences, excluding words like: no, never, no more, etc.
E.g. Right: “I eat healthy”. Wrong: “I don’t eat junk food anymore”.

The affirmations most be in present tense, never in future; otherwise the change will be always far, in the future.
E.g. Right: “I have an aesthetic body”. Wrong: “I am going to have aesthetic body”.

Avoid using the name of the problem that you want to overcome.
E.g. Right: “I feel happy always”. Wrong: “My depression disappears forever”.

Make a list with the sentences. They should to be few and related to what you want to improve. Never mix different topics; if you need to work another aspect, do it in other session.

Memorize your list and repeat it mentally several times, with conviction; imagining that you already have what you want. Right away stop thinking of it and let your mind wander for a while. Then, come out of the trance by doing the opposite you did for entering in it, or imagine coming back to current moment counting slowly from ten to zero while breathing deeply... at the end, open your eyes. Stand up and retake your normal activities and don't think of the theme until your next session.

Most likely you will need several sessions, which can be repeated everyday. But don´t do them too long, from 20 to 40 minutes is enough.

There is a technique that you can use for getting in and out of hypnosis quickly by using a programmed word or phrase. That means, by saying those key-words you will enter hypnosis or exit of it effortless. But you have to chose and program those words when you're in trance.

Now let’s talk about how our behavior should be, since this is very important for having a good experience and accomplishing our task.

Feel confident, take a positive attitude, and keep the control from the beginning to the end. Probably you may find unexpected things like forgotten memories, pleasant or uncomfortable feelings, but don’t worry and don’t try to avoid them. Let that one part of you experiences those feelings, but keep another part quiet and calm; turning into an eyewitness. This witness is necessary to realize that everything is in our own mind. Perhaps you want to go further to overcome a trauma, and this attitude will result crucial to get it.

Use the auto-hypnosis along with others mental techniques for transforming your life forever.

WHAT HYPNOSIS CAN DO FOR YOU

One of the most useful techniques for unblocking the mind is hypnosis. For decades hypnosis has been used as an effective method to treat pain, anxiety, depression, addictions, bad habits, mood disorders, trauma, etc. Even more, it can be used for treating physical diseases or for aesthetic purposes.

Hypnosis is a mental state characterized by deep concentration with body relaxation, in which the subconscious comes to the fore and the individual becomes more sensitive, suggestible and able to remember forgotten events that have influenced his behavior. At certain moments of the trance, positive suggestions are given to the person with the aim of fixing his emotional disorders. Normally, the trance is inducted by someone, but sometimes, by recordings, images or even by oneself for different purposes.

The hypnotic state is not like being asleep or losing the will as many people think. The person is focused on his thoughts but at the same time is aware of what is happening around. There is no reason to be afraid of it, since this state is quite normal and actually more common than you might think. We all experience it on a daily basis in many situations: when reading, watching television, driving, or simply when we are immersed in our thoughts. In these cases the trance is automatic and most of the times we don't realize.

As a therapy, hypnosis gives lots of benefits and is totally safe. there are thousands of people who are being helped treated by professionals in the matter through this technique; however, if you don't want to be in anybody's hands, there is a wonderful alternative, to hypnotize yourself. Yes, you can learn how to do it. You can find out your mental blocks and solve your problems, heal your body, change your behavior, improve a talent or achieve a goal. If you are interested in it, I am going to describe the  auto-hypnosis technique in the next post.

I hope this has been helpful and, as always, I wish you the best!

ELIMINATE THE FEAR OF CHANGE

We all want to improve something in our body or in our mind; it is natural and healthy, but unfortunately, we find many obstacles along the way, such as laziness, self-distrust, people who discourage us, lack of time, lack of resources or simply the fear of change.

Although we have the intention of change, many times we are afraid to do it because a change represents losing something that belong to us, it’s like leaving a part of ourselves; we are so used to having it that we are afraid to live without it. Of course, most of the time is unconsciously.

Fear is the feeling that something threatens our person, that threat can be real or just imaginary. Fear is a defense mechanism, however, this natural mechanism can become our enemy if the fear is too big, blocking any possibility of change.

But fear is not an invincible enemy; it is created by our own mind, hence, our mind can eliminate it.

My advice is that every time the fear appears, don’t fight it, only be aware of it and then let it go. Follow this simple technique along with my video “Eliminate the Fear of Change” which is made to reprogram the mind in order to overcome this fear: http://youtu.be/pFcJORRHOyw

I wish you all the best.
